Acho que já pus aqui, mas vá lá... Adoro essa canção cantada por ela, Heather Peace (a do piano) e a Jill Jackson (a do violão acústico).
A letra pra vcs cantarem junto. Essa canção é do Usher, mas elas só cantam uma parte (a que vai até o começo do rapper Pitbull). Outro detalhe é que as boas moças de família inglesa não falam o "mother fuck down", apenas falam "mother... down". Hilário...rs

Procurando sua alma gêmea?
OI Pessoal,
Sou assídua leitora da Kathy Belge, lá do About.com. E ela incorporou em sua coluna os artigos da Emily Wilcox, que eu não conhecia, mas que tem uma audiência no rádio e nas revistas bem razoável. Tenho lido desde o primeiro e estou gostando muito.
Emily Wilcox é uma escritora e, digamos, “coacher” sentimental. Ela é autora de “100 Lesbians walk into a bar”, um livro que contém seus artigos/respostas que ela deu nas colunas que têm em jornais e revistas. Lá fora, o livro está classificado como de auto-ajuda.
Para segui-la no twitter o caminho é @100lesbians.
Decidi colocar aqui o artigo dessa semana com uma versão que eu fiz (não é tradução!), pois achei bem simples e direto, principalmente pra muitas de nós (homos ou heteros) que procuramos por nossa "alma gêmea", se é que ela existe e não é apenas uma idealização que nos impede de encontrar a pessoa real. Estou procurando minha cara metade. Eu estou cadastrada em vários sites de namoro e estou indo a vários bares gays da minha cidade, algumas vezes por semana. Eu sei que tenho muito para oferecer a alguém.

Esse filme nunca deveria ter sido lançado.
Espero que você nunca encontre alguém que completa você. Se isso ocorrer, fuja! Pois isto apenas significa que ela está preenchendo um vazio e espaços vazios devem apenas ser preenchidos com amor-próprio. Ninguém mais pode preencher esse vazio, difícil é como tentamos encaixar esse círculo em um quadrado.
Você não é nem nunca foi incompleta. Você quer uma parceira de vida e isso é ótimo. Mas, primeiro você deve ser uma pessoa completa e embebida em sua própria felicidade interior, e se ninguém apareceu, mesmo assim você está muito bem. É nesse espaço que você vai encontrar a sua companheira. Cabe a você a perceber que já está completa. Mas a verdade é que você vai encontrá-la quando não estiver procurando.

I am looking for my better half. I have joined several dating sitesand I go out to the one local gay bar in my town a few times a week. I know I have a lot to offer someone. My life just feels empty without a partner. I have always been in relationships and have been single for almost a year now. When will I find the woman who completes me?

Dear Incomplete,
That movie never should have been released.
I hope you never find someone who completes you. If you do, run! That would only mean she is filling an empty void and empty voids are only meant to be filled with self-love. No one else can fill that, hard as we may try to fit that circle into a square. You are not and have never been incomplete. You want a life partner and that’s great. But you must first be a complete person and soaked in your own inner happiness that if no one ever came along, you would be just fine.
That is the space in which you will meet your match. It's up to you to appreciate that you are already complete. But the truth is you will find her when you are not looking. This happens because normally when people are out searching for their soul mate, their feelings are usually inundated with fear of being alone and never finding that special someone. They are searching out of necessity, not for the joy of expectancy. And it's your feelings that are the radar for your future. Thoughts become things when the feelings match.
The part you can do different this year is working on releasing your fears and expecting the best.

So I'm pretty much in love with Heather Peace and her character on the show, as well as Lip Service in general, and I saw this a few hours ago and had this sudden rush of inspiration :) Been meaning to make another video for these two anyway, after making this one a while back:

Lena Headey is amazing as well, so I really couldn't resist. WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SO PERFECT. I CANNOT. Also incredibly excited for series 2 of LS, it's one of my favourite shows. You should watch it cos it's worth it.
