THE SUPREMES and THE FOUR TOPS where would i be without you baby

Respirem fundo, porque essa música é a música!

A letra de Where would I be without you baby

What if you should come to me
One day and say you found somebody new
I know that might sounds strange,
But I hate to be alone
And the more I think about it,
The more desperate I become

Lonely, lonely me
I don't have any idea
As to where I would be or what I do without you, baby
Ooh, why would it be so easy
That there'll be no rhyme or reason for living
If you should say we're through

When I look into your eyes
Sometimes you turn away from me
Oh, in the moment of closeness
My heart starts beating fast
But with him, it's not the same
I don't think it's gonna last

Lonely, lonely me
I don't have any idea
As to where I would be without you
Oh-oh-oh, why would it be so easy
That there'll be no rhyme or reason for living
If you should say we're through

Oh, tell me
Somebody tell me if it's a silly premonition
(Premonition)
Hey, that I got condemned from loving a girl like you
Oh, hey, hey
Don't put out the fire that burns
Can't you see how much my heart would yearn?

Lonely, lonely me
I don't have any idea
As to where I would be or what I do without you, baby
Hey, hey, hey!
Why would it be so easy
That there'll be no rhyme or reason for living
If you should say we're through (oh-oh-oh)
If you should say we're through
If you should say we're through (say we're through)
If you should say we're through

Lonely, lonely me
I don't have any idea
As to where I would be or what I do without you, baby
Hey, why would it be so easy
That there'll be no rhyme or reason for living
If you should say we're through
If you should say we're through
If you should say we're through (say we're through)
If you should say we're through

Hey, hey lonely, lonely me
I don't have any idea
As to where I would be or what I do without you, baby
Hey, why would it be so easy
That there'll be no rhyme or reason for living
If you should say we're through
If you should say we're through

Um minuto de silêncio

Marina Abramović and Ulay - MoMA 2010 por mattinnbm

Marina Abramović and Ulay meet years after their break up in 1988.

Kermit The Frog Sings About Gay Marriage In 'Rainbow Connection' Parody

Kermit The Frog Sings About Gay Marriage In 'Rainbow Connection' Parody

The Huffington Post  |  By  Posted:   |  Updated: 07/19/2013 11:27 am EDT
Kermit the Frog (or some frog that looks a lot like him) is the latest celebrity to get behind marriage equality, as he takes his classic song, "The Rainbow Connection" and reworks it as a ballad for same-sex marriage.
While the video is a obviously a parody and not sanctioned by Disney or The Jim Henson Company, it's funny nonetheless as the Muppet strums his banjo, sings about marriage and also gives his thoughts on North Korea and the Pope (sounds strange, but just stick with it).

PEACE OF MY HEART - JANIS JOPLIN

This is my favorite song from Janis Joplin - I love her and I love this song

PIECE OF MY HEART

Oh, come on, come on, come on, come on!

Didn't I make you feel like you were the only man -yeah!
Didn't I give you nearly everything that a woman possibly can ?
Honey, you know I did!
And each time I tell myself that I, well I think I've had enough,
But I'm gonna show you, baby, that a woman can be tough.

I want you to come on, come on, come on, come on and take it,
Take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby!
Oh, oh, break it!
Break another little bit of my heart now, darling, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Oh, oh, have a!
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby,
You know you got it if it makes you feel good,
Oh, yes indeed.

You're out on the streets looking good,
And baby deep down in your heart I guess you know that it ain't right,
Never, never, never, never, never, never hear me when I cry at night,
Babe, I cry all the time!
And each time I tell myself that I, well I can't stand the pain,
But when you hold me in your arms, I'll sing it once again.

I'll say come on, come on, come on, come on and take it!
Take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby.
Oh, oh, break it!
Break another little bit of my heart now, darling, yeah,
Oh, oh, have a!
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby,
You know you got it, child, if it makes you feel good.

I need you to come on, come on, come on, come on and take it,
Take it!
Take another little piece of my heart now, baby!
oh, oh, break it!
Break another little bit of my heart, now darling, yeah, c'mon now.
oh, oh, have a
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby.
You know you got it -whoahhhhh!!

Take it!
Take it! Take another little piece of my heart now, baby,
Oh, oh, break it!
Break another little bit of my heart, now darling, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Oh, oh, have a
Have another little piece of my heart now, baby, hey,
You know you got it, child, if it makes you feel good.

Marriage (Definition of Marriage) Amendment Bill - Third Reading - Part 20

Pessoal,

New Zealand Lawmakers Pass Marriage Equality, Break Into Song

(a notícia foi tirada do AfterEllen.
Queer women love New Zealand. Lucy Lawless? Kiwi. Anna Paquin? Kiwi. Anika Moa? Kiwi.Topp Twins? Kiwi. Alison Mau? Australian, actually, but she got engaged in New Zealand to her Kiwi girlfriend. Last night New Zealand gave us another reason to love it. After a two-hour Parliamentary debate, and a 77 to 44 vote, it became the 13th country to legalize same-sex marriage at the national level. And then they spontaneously broke into song, because of course they did, because New Zealanders are the best. They sang "Pokarekare Ana," which is a traditional love song composed in the indigenous Maori language.
You can watch news footage of the unbelievably moving impromptu celebration, but have a tissue handy because you're probably going to spontaneously burst into tears.
New Zealand follows Uruguay and France, both of which recently legalized same-sex marriage.
Louisa Wall, the Labour Party MP who introduced the legislation, told BBC News: "In our society, the meaning of marriage is universal - it's a declaration of love and commitment to a special person. Nothing could make me more proud to be a New Zealander than passing this bill." And then she posed in front of this giant Gay Pride flag and put every American Congressperson in to shame.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch that video one more time and sob my eyes out.
